VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

United Women’s Rugby

Requires volunteer trainers for the 2011-2012 season (September – May)

Responsibilities include attending practices and games.

Practices:   Tuesday & Thursday night 6:30-8pm Maple Creek Middle School

Games:       Saturday 10:30am (Division 1) and 11:00am (Premier) for approximately 4-5 hours

Duties include:

• Ensuring first aid equipment is avaible
• Effectively taping/wrapping/icing players
• Assessing on field injuries and triage dealing with serious injuries in the absence of and until the arrival of a paramedic
