Using Google to Find Government Publications

Google is a very effective tool to find current government publications on the internet.

  1. Go to Google.ca
  2. Select Advanced Search
  3. Enter your keyword(s)
  4. Scroll down to "Search within a site or domain."
  5. For Canadian federal government publications, type:  gc.ca
  6. For BC provincial publications, type:  gov.bc.ca
  7. Click on "Advanced Search".
