World Bank Data Catalog provides web access to databases, pre-formatted tables and reports files from the World Bank. Databases include:

  • Health Nutrition and Population Statistics
  • Quarterly External Debt Statistics

Users can create custom tables by selecting country, topic variables and years.

JSTOR - Arts & Science Collection VIII
The Arts & Sciences VIII Collection will broaden JSTOR's coverage of core humanities disciplines including history, language & literature, art & art history, and education. Included in this set will be a group of rare 19th and early 20th century American Art periodicals digitized as part of a special project undertaken with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Frick Collection, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. With a minimum of 140 titles by its completion in 2011, this collection will also include journals in philosophy, classical studies, and music.

National Film Board
The National Film Board of Canada is a world renowned creator of Canadian film content. UFV now has an institutional license for classroom use of NFB streaming videos.  This growing collection has hundreds of English and French language animated films and full length documentaries in streaming video. (March 4/10)

The Sage Full Text Collections (Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, and more) are no longer available on the CSA platform.  All content, including a deep backfile, is available on the Sage Journals Online platform.

The Institute of Physics (IOP) database was not renewed in 2010.

Blackwell Online Journals added to Wiley Interscience

We are pleased to announce to addition of over 750 peer-reviewed Blackwell Publishing journals to our Wiley-Interscience database. These journals cover a broad range of subject areas, with strengths in life and physical science, medicine, social and behavioural science, business and economics, nursing, health and dentistry, the humanities, and agriculture and animal sciences.
