RefWorks allows you to automatically format references in Word documents in hundreds of citation styles, including APA, Chicago, MLA, and Turabian. Formatting can be done one of two ways: 1) using a utility called Write-N-Cite, or 2) copying and pasting from the One Line/Cite View.
Use Write-N-Cite if:
- your computer meets the following requirements:

- Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP
- Internet Explorer 5.0 and up

- Microsoft Word for Mac 98 and up
- Mac OS X version 10.3 or later

- you can download or have already downloaded a copy of Write-n-Cite onto your computer
Use One Line/Cite View if:
- you don’t have the above software loaded onto your computer
- you cannot download Write-N-Cite to your computer
