Borrowing Materials:  Retirees

Borrowing Privileges

UFV Retirees are entitled to the same borrowing privileges as current UFV faculty and staff.  For details on loan periods and fines, see Borrowing Materials: Faculty and Staff.

At the present time, retirees may continue to use their current employee cards. 

Borrowing From Other Libraries

Retired faculty are entitled to a COPPUL card, which provides borrowing privileges for most post-secondary libraries in Canada.  

Retired faculty and staff are also entitled to 10 free interlibrary loans per year.

Database Privileges

All retirees may use the UFV Research Databases from within the library (on campus.)

In addition, employees with Emeritus or Honorary Status may also contact the library to obtain off-campus database access.  Definitions of these terms may be found in the Collective Agreement.
