Welcome! LIBTSA is the student organisation for the Library and Information Technology program. Membership is open to all LIBITstudents at UFV, and encourages participation and contribution from all, whenever possible. The association exists to provide support and facilitate professional growth for its members through meetings, workshops, social events and mentoring.

LIBTSA also provides for an annual bursary through UFV Financial Aid. For more information go to Scholarships and Bursaries.

Meetings:
Held each third Wednesday of the month in the Clubs Room of University House.

Please come at 11:30. Meetings will begin promptly at 11:45.
We encourage all LIBTSA members to attend meetings. Minutes are sent out on the LibitAll Listserv; contact Noreen to sign up.

While efforts are made to keep this webpage up to date with current event information, it is often not possible and we urge you to please check out the News & Announcement page, and to join the LIBTSA group on Facebook: Library and Information Technology Program UFV Student Network. Postings for informal social events and a discussion board are available through the Facebook group.

BCLA/LTAIG:
LIBTSA allocates funds to help students who wish to attend BCLA or LTAIG events. In order to help the executives make the best decisions about how to distribute those funds, and also to arrange car pooling if warranted, please fill out the application form with all relevant information.
