MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS
UFV maintains a current data-base of all materials required to have MSDS that are utilized at all our campus locations and are received through shipping and receiving.
Each department should maintain a binder of hard copy MSDS for review by any employee who may use or come in contact with regulated materials.
Departments are asked to request new or updated MSDS as required, and to inform the Mail & MSDS Services provider if they have disposed of chemicals and no longer require the information sheets.
Employees can access MSDS online from their department by performing the following:
- click on the my.ufv.ca link
- log in using your username and password
- click on the "online services" tab
- select the WHMIS information section on the bottom right by clicking on the "click here to" link
