UFV Typefaces
In order to maintain visual consistency and to maximize legibility, we use two key typefaces for UFV materials that are designed and printed professionally:
Sans serif: Bliss (by Jeremy Tankard)
Serif: Slimbach (by Adobe)
Typefaces are relatively costly to purchase and implement over a large number of users. For this reason, use of these fonts is limited to a small number of "seats" within the institution, including our graphic design team, IMS, and Print Services.
For materials produced in-house using standard MS Office tools, the use of standard system fonts is acceptable.
