Accessing your Online Course, logging in
Once you have registered for an online course, you will be able to access your course on the first day of classes. Two ways to access your online course,
- Visit myUFV. Click on the My Courses tab and follow the directions for logging into your fully online course.
- Direct route: Go to https://myclass.ufv.ca, please check your browser and go through the student orientation
The fully online course is open throughout the semester and closes on or near the last day of the last month of the semester, usually at midnight. For the summer semester, courses begin on the first day of classes. Remember to log in before the third day of classes.
Access to your fully online course ends at midnight on the last day of the month of your final exam.
I am unable to log in to my course, what is happening?
Your course does not open until the first day of classes.
Otherwise, if you are trying to log in on or after the first day of classes, most student log-in problems can be attributed to the student using an incorrectly typed log-in id or password. You use your student id number and your password is the one you set when you first entered myUFV.
If you have registered, you should be automatically entered into your online course. If you do not see your course when you log in to myUFV, first confirm with the Office of the Registrar that you are registered, then call the IT Service Desk at 604-864-4610 or email to email@example.com.
How should my internet browser be configured to work properly with my online course?
If you are having difficulties with Blackboard Learn, please check this compatibility list from Blackboard. Choose a browser that is CERTIFIED for best results.
