CLASSROOM ADVISORY GROUP The Classroom Advsiory Group (CAG) was formed to establish a set of standards for classroom design at the University of the Fraser Valley. The committee consists of UFV representatives from various disciplines, spearheaded by Facilities Management, and acts as an advisory group to project management.
A key criterion in any classroom project is meeting the needs of the primary users, faculty, and students. How do they perceive their current classroom environment? Are they ideal teaching and learning places? What would make them better learning environments?
CAG was expertise in developing classroom design standards to ensure that the physical layout of the room, and the multimedia technology available, will enhance the learning environment to fit UFV's pedagogical needs.
Areas that the CAG review during monthly meetings are: - Space standards
- Furniture standards
- Multimedia technology standards
- Acoustic design
- Color schemes
- Lighting standards & operation
- Pedagogical requirements
Here you may find information on the classroom services provided by UFV which meets your teaching needs, and help in your decision to book a room.
