Academic & Employer Feedback
Approval bodies within and outside UFV expect to see that the development group has consulted with people outside UFV to ensure that the program is high-quality and that it meets the needs of students and employers. Who is consulted depends on the nature of the program, but typically includes academics from similar programs and employers. When you select people to consult, or from whom you want to seek support, consider what information they will need to offer an informed opinion. Sample requests for feedback or support are included below. The results of these consultations are usually included in the proposal.
Developers of degree-level programs should consult with the Program Development coordinator in this phase, as there are reasons for selecting some external reviewers over others.
