Creating Academic Portfolios
Adult learners create portfolios to give a detailed account of their skills and abilities in relation to the outcomes and criteria being assessed. Portfolios are often a creative outlet for learners to show their learning in diverse and relevant ways.
When you create a portfolio you usually go through a process of identifying the course you want credit for, reflecting on your learning, analyzing it in relation to the outcomes or learning objectives of courses and compiling evidence that shows you meet the learning outcomes of courses.
