Learning Statements Once you have reflected on your prior learning you have to connect that learning to criteria you are being assessed against.
If you are creating an academic portfolio your learning statements must be designed around the learning outcomes of the courses that you prove equivalency to in your portfolio.
While learning statements can be formatted and organized in a variety of ways, you should correlate your learning to Blooms Taxonomy. Blooms verbs will add weight to your learning statements and the content area specialist will know how the verbs correspond to the depth of learning you want to display.
