What is a portfolio?

There are several different types of portfolios. Your PLAR advisor can help you select the most appropriate type for your situation.

An Academic Portfolio matches your experiential learning with articulated course learning outcomes. This is the type of portfolio that must be completed in order to receive PLAR credit for courses at UCFV.

A Career/Employment Portfolio illustrates your skill sets and accomplishments in the workplace, while a Professional Portfolio highlights or summarizes aspects of your professional career. A Showcase Portfolio showcases your life experiences.
