March 24 and 25, 2011: UFV budget presentations

I extend an invitation to all members of the UFV community to join me at either of two forums for a presentation on the 2011-12 proposed budget. This is an opportunity for you to hear about the budget plan for 2011-12 and to learn about the budget development process.

A draft of the proposed budget was reviewed by the Budget Advisory Committee on March 10 and Senate on March 11. It will be reviewed by the Board’s Finance and Audit Committee on March 29 before going to the April 7 Board of Governors’ meeting for approval.

The Chilliwack forum will be held on Thursday, March 24, in Room A201 on Chilliwack North campus, from 3-4 pm. In Abbotsford, the forum is scheduled for Friday, March 25, from 10 – 11am in Room B121.  The forum will be captured as video for those unable to attend.
