What do we do?
Our goals consist of the following: - We exist as a support network--we can help direct people to assistance and to information. We can also provide an ear and a shoulder. After all, we've all been there. We want to provide a safe, open environment for LGBTQ students at UFV.
- We exist as an advocacy group and outreach network--we campaign to spread awareness with regards to LGBTQ issues, be they social, legal, cultural, or otherwise.
- We exist to combat homophobia and heterosexism on campus and in the Fraser Valley.
- We exist to promote LGBTQ culture and to provide a safe place for that culture to be freely exercised; you are free to be yourself among us. We do this by way of movie nights, marches, Pride Parade delegations, charitable support, and other group activities.
