ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROJECT

As part of a continuing lower Lillooet River archaeological project with the Port Douglas First Nations and UFV students, Dr. Hudson directed archaeological excavations at a 1,000 year old village site along the Lillooet River. This was a three-year project (from 2000 – 2002) funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (Grants to Small Universities). The archaeological work is built into an archaeology course taught at UFV.
