New Student Orientation

UFV Orientation programs are designed to introduce the UFV community, its campuses, its divisions and its services to new students and their families. Orientation provides new students with the opportunity to start their studies prepared, excited, and ready to go. This year there are two programs offered: New Student Orientation and Parent Orientation.

First-Year Programming
Six Weeks to Student Success

First-Year Programming will focus on the students' transition into the university experience and help to develop strategies and attitudes that will maximize academic success. It will familiarize students with campus resources and how to use them, foster the development of positive relationships between and among students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and prepare students to become lifelong learners.
