Office Moves not related to Renovations/Construction

Please contact Bob.Peters@ufv.ca or call Local 4488 to arrange for physical office moves not related to construction or renovations.  If you require furniture to be moved from one location to another, need a piece of furniture assembled, need your office reconfigured, or require a repair on a piece of furniture, then Shipping & Receiving is your best bet.

Faculty Office Allocation
Please contact Leslie.Dalzell@ufv.ca or call 604.864.4689 to inquire about faculty office allocations. Leslie coordinates office allocations primarily located on the 3rd floor of Buildings B&D.

Phones & Computers
The ITS department will handle any telephone or computer-related matters. Please contact Chris.Carter@ufv.ca or call 604.864.4600 to arrange for phone/fax hook-ups and voice mail accounts.  Please contact Larry.Santacruz@ufv.ca or call Local 4170 for data drops and computer disconnects/reconnects required during an office move.  You can visit the ITS website for more information.

Office Moves related to new renovations/construction
Please contact Colleen.Heron@ufv.ca or call 604.854.4586 to enquire about renovation/construction related office/department moves.  Colleen is the coordinator for any renovation/construction related move at UFV, or can direct you to the applicable service department based on the nature of your query.  Colleen should be your first contact when dealing with office/department moves related to new construction or renovations.

Furniture
Please contact Hilary.Cooper@ufv.ca or call 604.854.4520 to inquire about purchasing new furniture, coordinating/developing office layouts, understanding UFV’s furniture standards, or to arrange for furniture disposal/surplus pick-ups.  You can visit the furniture web site for more information here.

Facilities Services
Please contact FacilitiesServiceDesk@ufv.ca or call 604.854.4542 to request any additional services required during a move.  If you are unsure whom to call, the front desk person can assist you and provide the necessary information or action required.  Requests can be made online via our work order system found here.

If you visit the Facilities web site, you will also find a lot of useful information such as campus maps and floor plans, key and access requests forms, contact information, etc.  Facilities Management is also the place to request room signage, as well as fixture installations such as lights, bulletin/white boards, mail folders, picture hanging, coat hooks, and a variety of other related tasks.  To request these services, please complete an online work request here.
