Kathryn has been with UFV since 1997 and started with the School of Social Work and Human Services in April 2011. Prior to working at UFV, she lived in Japan for four years, studying karate and working in a local school board office. During her time at UFV, Kathryn has worked both in the International and Residence Services departments. Kathryn comes to the School with plenty of international travel and human-relations experience. She is scheduled to begin a post-graduate program in academic advising in Spring 2013 (if traveling does not get in her way!).

Laura started with the School of Social Work and Human Services in February 2011. She worked in Student Services for two years before commencing the position of Department Assistant. Laura moved to British Columbia in 2008, after 27 years of dedicated contribution to the University of Manitoba. She worked on the Manitoba Initiative: Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Patient-Centred Practice, in the Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Sociology, Department of Economics, the Faculty of Education Dean's office, the School of Art Director's Office, and the Faculty of Continuing Education. She has attained a designation of Advanced Toastmaster (Silver) and is working toward completing her undergraduate degree.
