The purpose of the School of Social Work and Human Services MSW Field Placement Manual is to serve as a guide and to provide information to students, field instructors, and faculty regarding the:
- General philosophy and objectives of the Master of Social Work Program.
- Specific goals, objectives, roles, structures, policies, practices and procedures of the Field Placement component of the MSW program.
The content of the Manual is based on standard information and guidelines as well as formal policies of the School of Social Work and Human Services and the University of the Fraser Valley. For more detailed information regarding a particular policy or questions about the content of this manual, please contact the Field Education Coordinator.
