Admission to TEP is competitive and it is suggested that you complete all prerequisites at least one term prior to the program start. Applicants who will not complete the above requirements by the beginning of TEP will not be considered.
All applicants must meet the minimum academic requirements by the Ministry of Educations's Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB) including a degree that is recognized by the TRB. If you are using credits within your degree from institutions which are not recognized by the TRB, please note that the TRB may not accept these credits towards professional certification. It is strongly recommended to contact the TEP advisor to have these courses verified with the TRB prior to admission into TEP. For further information you can check the BC Teacher Regulation Branch website.
