TEP  Information Sessions

TEP offers regular TEP Seminars each semester on both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses. The information seminar is intended for those students thinking about a teaching career and possibly entering UFV's Teacher Education program in the coming years. The workshop explores reasons to become a teacher, decisions about the level of teaching you want to pursue, and the required academic preparation. Aside from the educational requirements, other expectations for future teachers will also be touched upon. The workshop includes some of the requirements of the BC Teacher Regulations Branch. A brief highlighting of the components of UFV's Teacher Education Program (elementary and secondary) will be given.

If you are interested in becoming a teacher, you are strongly advised to attend a TEP Seminar or make a one-on-one appointment with the TEP Advisor.
