Astrid has been designing and teaching for the Theatre Department since 1986 and has never looked back.

ASTRID BEUGELING

A graduate of the University of Victoria with a BFA in Design and Production, and a member of the Chilliwack Players Guild since 1975, her life has been consumed by the theatre.

Recent set design credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Death of a Salesman, Love's Labour’s Lost, King Lear, Major Barbara, Twelfth Night, Alice Through the Looking Glass to name only a few.

She has also designed the costumes for Waiting for Godot, Les Belles Soeurs and Bloody Business.

In addition to designing, Astrid teaches technical theatre and stage design. Astrid takes pride in witnessing the growth of UCFV Theatre students as they develop their creative potentials.
