THEATRE DEPARTMENT
SANDY TAIT

Sandy has been hanging around the Theatre department for the past twenty-two years, first as a student, then as a volunteer.

She was the very first Theatre Diploma graduate at the, then, Fraser Valley College. Over the years Sandy has taken many backstage roles, including stage managing Macbeth, The Melville Boys, and Caliban — Housesitter, and directing Cut!!! by Lyle Victor Albert in Directors’ Festival, 2000.

She has occasionally wandered onstage as well, taking roles in Talking With…, The Rez Sisters and That Summer.

As of March, 2004, Sandy became an employee in the Theatre department and is very much enjoying working with the rest of the department, the production team, and the students.

In addition to being the production manager, Sandy also videotapes the Mainstage Productions and teaches yoga to the theatre students.
