Drafting … Negotiating …“Advocating”
Strategic planning is systematic, it facilitates adaptive management, and it fosters institutional decision-making. UFV’s Teaching and Learning Strategic Plan will be created in response to UFV’s Strategic Plan, developed with regard to teaching and learning in relationship to the mission, values, goals, and priorities of UFV as articulated in the institutional strategic plan.
Strategic planning plays an essential role in change, change management, accountability, and quality control.
UFV has been identified as a “teaching intensive university”. Strategic planning documents will address the many issues that arise from such a designation, including who, what, where, when, and how.
The development of the Teaching and Learning Strategic Plan will be guided by the Teaching and Learning Advisory Council.
