Deep Learning Seminar for Student Success

The Centre for Teaching and Learning at Vancouver Island University Campus is hosting a 4 day "Deep Learning for Student Success" Seminar May 21-24, 2013. 

Educators are invited to develop a strong understanding and application of how to design lessons and courses to assist students in having deep learning experiences.

STLHE "Learning to Live, Learning for Life" Conference

Cape Breton University is proud to host the 33rd annual STLHE Conference titled "Learning to Live, Learning for Life."  Inspired by the concept of sustainability, the theme encompasses living in a economically, physically and culturally sustainable way and how to integrate sustained learning throughout.

Pre-conference:  June 19, 2013 at the Canadian Coast Guard College 

Conference:  June 20-22, 2013 at Cape Breton University
