Welcome to the Faculty of Trades & Technology. We are very proud to offer programs and courses geared towards "Careers with Opportunity!"

British Columbia is going through an unprecedented growth cycle and skilled trades workers have never been in such high demand. Our programs are designed to develop high levels of skill and increase knowledge which employers require for successful careers.

To serve our students in Trades & Technology programs and their potential employers, we have designed our programs to provide simulated work place experience. This means that theoretical knowledge taught in the classroom sessions is reinforced with substantial hands-on learning components.

Trades & Technology Programs at UFV are offered as Entry Level Trades Training (ELTT) Programs and Apprenticeship Programs. Therefore, if you have no experience, an ELTT program can bring you from any level to a skilled and valuable tradesworker. Apprenticeship training is available to those who are already working in some of the trades.
