2013 NYC STUDY TOUR
April 27 to May 6, 2013
Travel to New York City with the UFV Visual Arts department and experience one of the greatest art cities in the world. Tours of iconic museums like The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) and The Museum of Modern Art (The MoMA), as well as the exquisite Dia: Beacon, and The Frick Collection are just some of the tour destinations. The NYC Study Tour is open to all BFA students, their friends and family, and UFV faculty and staff.

DETAILS OF TRIP:
- $2575 is the cost per student.
- Costs include hotel + hot breakfast, airfare, ground transfers, bus and subway pass, travel insurance, and all museum and gallery entries

Travel via bus to theSeattle Art Museum. We'll also tour the Henry Art Gallery and The Olympic Sculpture Park with a lunch stop near Pike Place Market.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- Passports are required and must be in hand before boarding the bus.
- International students require a VISA for entering the US.
- A $10 deposit is required to hold your seat, and will be returned to you upon departure
- Waivers are signed at time of deposit

Seattle Art Museums & Galleries Travel via bus to the Seattle Art Museum to view Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise in the Simonyi Special Exhibition Galleries.  Vancouver Gallery Tour October 15, 2011
Travel via bus to the Vancouver Museum to view Bhangra.me — Vancouver's Bhangra Story, the Contemporary Art Gallery — Sister Corita Kent, and the Blanket Contemporary Gallery — solo exhibition by Shawn Hunt, curated by Lawrence Paul.  Paris Study Tour 2011
A joint project of UFV's Fashion Design, Modern Languages and Visual Arts departments, the Paris Study Tour 2011 will take place June 2 - June 17, 2011. On this tour, students will visit and learn about world-renowned architectural and historical jewels such as Versailles, Chartres, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Garnier Opera House, the Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Pierre Berge-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation, and will be introduced to many aspects of daily life in Paris.  Pilchuck Glass School / Gallery Tour

The Pilchuck Glass School has been the incubator of the vital studio glass movement in the Northwest since 1971. Located on 54 acres, the Pilchuck Glass School is an international center for glass art education. Classes are offered each summer in a broad spectrum of glass techniques with year-round residencies for emerging and established artists working in all media.
