EXPLORE THE SELF PORTRAIT WITH ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, SHELLEY STEFAN

Painting and drawing instructor, Shelley Stefan, had a productive 2013. She was involved in several exhibitions, community outreach events and more looking at diversity and interculturalism throughout the lower mainland. Stefan is keeping the momentum going in 2014 with, About Face, a group exhibition put on by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council that includes portraiture works. Two self portraits of Stefan's are exhibited from January 31, 2014 to March 01, 2014 at Cityscape Community Art Space, 335 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver.

 

 

 


SHELLEY STEFAN TAKES PART IN INTERCULTURALISM DIALOGUE

Instructor Shelley Stefan takes on diversity once more! A two part dialogue happening Saturday, November 9th from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, November 16th from 12pm to 3pm, UFV Instructor Shelley Stefan will participate as an artist, along with fellow artist Diane Moran, creating works of art to be showcased during the second session that lead into a discussion on the theme of interculturalism.

INSTRUCTOR SHELLEY STEFAN PAINTS LIVE AT CBC VANCOUVER STUDIO

 
UFV Visual Arts instructor Shelley Stefan will be exhibiting and performing at CBC Vancouver Studio on June 7, June 8, 2013. The event, entitled AFI:10 Roots of Change, focuses on the importance of Art for Social Change. Stefan will be doing a live painting performance entitled "Self-Empathy <--> World-Empathy" and exhibiting the video "B is for Butch" from New York City, 2010.
