Upgrading at UFV
If you do not have the right high school courses or need to raise your grades to enter a university program, you may need to look into upgrading options.
UFV offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses also known as Adult Upgrading.
Through UFV Upgrading you can:
- Upgrade basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Complete high school to earn a B.C. Adult Graduation Diploma
- Meet employment requirements, or complete prerequisite courses for a post-secondary program
Upgrading courses are offered on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Hope campuses. Courses offered include Biology, Chemistry, Computers, Education and Career Planning, English, Indigenous People's Knowledge, Math and Physics.
