Work Opportunities

Our work opportunities offer you the chance to focus on your professional career development. Click to learn more about eligibility requirements, deadlines and how-to-apply.

Co-operative Education (Co-op) combines academic studies with relevant work experience. Academic semesters alternate with work terms, giving you up to two years of relevant work experience.

Work-Study helps you build your skills while you study. This program allows you to gain 120 hours of professional employment experience over the course of one semester in conjunction with your studies. Work-Study students are required to be enrolled in a minimum of nine UFV credits and hold and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

The Experiential Learning Student Profile (formerly known as the Co-Curricular Record), powered by CareerLink, is now available! This new system allows you to add your participation in UFV activities, leadership roles, work placements, and other experiential learning activities you deem valuable to a central, accessible record for future use. CareerLink is a flexible and modern system that will help you organize and record your personal achievements, work experience, and learning activities both on and off-campus in preparation for future work opportunities, resume building, grad school applications and more.

Study Abroad allows you to gain distinct advantages in the classroom, in the workforce and your life. We encourage you to participate in order to develop a competitive and compassionate edge-up.
