How do I find my textbooks?
Start by visiting UFV Bookstore's online store. Next you will need to select your campus, term, and program. Check the box of your class (you can select more than one) and hit Go. All course materials will be listed, including ebooks, access codes, textbooks, etc.
What if I can't find my textbooks?
If it says No Text Required under your class, your instructor has decided not to list any materials for you to pick up from the Bookstore.
If it says TBA under your class, your instructor might still be deciding on their course materials.
If you are still unsure, you can confirm course information with your instructor on your first day of class.
What is the difference between a required and suggested textbook?
A required textbook is a book your instructor has chosen, which contains necessary readings and materials for the course.
A suggested resource is supplemental material to assist in your studies, but is not mandatory for the course.
Status is determined by your professor not the Bookstore.
Can I sell my book back at the end of the class?
If books will be used in the next term, we add them to our list to buy back at the end and beginning of each semester.
There are a few reasons why we would not buy back a book at the end of term:

What is a coursepack?
A coursepack is created by your instructor specifically for your course. It may include book excerpts, journal articles, or course notes. Some out-of print books are also reproduced as coursepacks.
Coursepacks are final sale.
How do I activate my e-book or access code?
If you are having trouble purchasing or activating your e-book or access code, please review the access code problem solving. You will find information on common problems and solutions and a list of contacts that can assist you.
What are the shipping costs for online ordering?
How soon will my order be ready?
We aim to have your order ready to ship or pick up within 2 - 5 business days of placing your order. We will send a confirmation email when your order is ready/shipping. If we are unable to fulfill your order 100% we will contact you, it is your choice to hold your order until complete or process the items that are available. Access codes are not automatically emailed upon order placement. A followup email will be sent once the order is processed within 2 - 5 business days of placing your order.
Can I pick up my books at the Bookstore?
Picking up your order at Chilliwack or Abbotsford Bookstore is convenient and free! Just select "Pick up your Order" as your shipping method and when you receive your confirmation email your order will be ready. Don't forget to bring your student ID or government issued ID, we will ask for your ID and your order number at pick up.
Why is the price of the textbook TBA?
The textbook you have selected may have just arrived to us and has yet to be priced/received. If you order an item that is TBA, we will contact you to advise on availability and provide you with the price before processing your order.
How do I see my orders and order status?
How do I order used books for my course?
The option to choose new or used will be available when you make your order online, if inventory is present. If we have sold out of a used copy a new copy will be substituted at the new selling price.
