IDS 101:
Asia Pacific — Special Topics 3 credits

Prerequisites: none

This course will examine a variety of topics related to selected Asia Pacific regions. The content of the course will vary depending upon the country of the visiting scholar, and may include aspects of culture, economics, political institutions, and other features of Asia Pacific regions. Course may not be offered every semester.

The Graduating Project 4 credits

Prerequisites: 85 credits or instructor’s permission

Transferability: SFU

This course provides an opportunity for students to develop personal and creative intellectual interests outside the usual course format. Students will initiate and develop their own individual projects with the support of a seminar group and under the supervision of a faculty member with expertise in the chosen field.
