Posting details

The School of Social Work and Human Services Valley invites applicants to apply for a one-year limited term faculty appointment to begin August 1, 2018 to teach seven courses over a two to three semester term.

Duties of Limited Term faculty fall within Article 18.2 (Teaching Faculty Duties) of the Collective Agreement, specifically the Teaching and Service components.


The successful applicant must have a MSW degree from a recognized institution and a PhD (or ABD) in Social Work is preferred, together with two years successful teaching at a degree level. Candidates with a PhD in a related discipline will be considered if they have a BSW.

The Selection Advisory Committee will begin reviewing applications on May 1, 2018; however, the position will remain open until filled.

Applications must include a letter of application, curriculum vitae or resume including evidence of appropriate qualifications, three letters of reference, a one-page statement of teaching philosophy and recent teaching evaluations.
