Reporting to the CFO and Vice President of Administration, the Director, Risk & Safety is responsible for developing and managing a variety of functions and processes that manage and mitigate the University's exposure to risk. As a key member of the team, this individual will contribute to the overall leadership of institutional risk, security, emergency management, occupational health and safety programs and provide input into the overall goals, objectives and operations within each of these areas. Specifically, the Director, Risk & Safety is responsible for the development of UFV's risk management frameworks and systems and for case management of various legal and contractual issue.
