Posting details

Shipping and Receiving requires Auxiliary, Mailroom Support Staff.  This position will provide support for the processing and distribution of mail.  Other responsibilities may include; preparation of outgoing Canada Post mail for Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Mission for BC Mail Plus; Canada Post electronic shipping tools (EST) for personalized mail; tracking designated outgoing mail for charge-back as required; and resolving mail related problems for faculty and staff.


  • Completion of a certificate in office administration from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent post-secondary education is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in software programs (MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive work.
  • Able to remain calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
