The Kinesiology department invites applicants for four one-year Limited Term Faculty appointments. The successful applicants will be expected to teach a total of seven (7) sections, including lectures and/or labs in the areas of active health (KIN 103), contemporary health (KIN 160), introduction to kinesiology (KIN 161), basic human anatomy (KIN 170), human nutrition (KIN 260), human physiology (KIN 270 & KIN 370), exercise physiology (KIN 163, KIN 362, & KIN 363), research methods in kinesiology (KIN 301), applied ethics for health sciences (KIN 481), and other areas as needed by the department.
Duties of Limited Term faculty fall within Article 18.2 (Teaching Faculty Duties) of the Collective Agreement, specifically the Teaching and Service components.
The successful applicant must have a master’s degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) in the area of Kinesiology (or a similar field), with a strong record of teaching excellence.
