Financial Services
Financial Services is responsible for managing financial affairs and providing exceptional service through financial leadership, including management of banking functions, financial systems, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, research accounting, endowment accounting, and all internal and external financial reporting.
Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
The OCIO is responsible for moving the University forward through the innovative use of data and technology while ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic plan. The OCIO oversees the following areas across the university: Information Technology Services (ITS), IT Security, Audio Visual Services, and the Business Transformation Office (BTO).
Campus Planning & Facilities Management
Campus Planning is responsible for the sustainable planning and development of the university’s campuses and centres. Facilities Management strives to diligently maintain, preserve, and enhance the life and functionality of UFV’s buildings, infrastructure, and grounds.
Resource Planning & Enterprise Risk
The Office of Resource Planning & Enterprise Risk oversees the development of a Comprehensive Financial Plan that integrates planning across the University and allocates resources to support and achieve the objectives of the university. The office also directs UFV’s Enterprise Risk Management program, which informs decision-making regarding significant risks and opportunities for the achievement of UFV’s mission, goals, and objectives.
Safety & Security
Safety & Security encompasses Security, Emergency Management, and Environmental Health and Safety for all UFV campuses. Safety & Security is committed to making students, faculty, and staff feel holistically safe and secure.
Supply Chain
The Supply Chain department at UFV comprises two divisions: Procurement Services and Logistics Services. The core responsibilities include the purchase of goods and services, movement of materials and goods, shipping and receiving, and courier and mail services.
Ancillary Services
Ancillary Services is a student-centred department of the University committed to offering students, faculty, and staff quality products and services to enhance their stay at UFV. Ancillary Services is responsible for food services, catering, campus stores, print services, campus card, conference services, parking, and housing operations.
