The Universities Art Association of Canada provides a national voice for its membership, composed of university and college faculty, independent scholars, and other art professionals in the fields of art, art history and visual culture. The UAAC Conference is organized annually.

‌The College Art Association (located in New York) supports all practitioners and interpreters of visual art and culture, including artists and scholars, who join together to cultivate the ongoing understanding of art as a fundamental form of human expression.

The Association of Art Historians (located in the UK) supports and promotes the study of art history. AAH is the national organization for professional and independent art and design historians, researchers and students involved in education, museums and galleries, and freelance work. The AAH stages an international conference each year in the United Kingdom.
