Day ONE: Welcome to Campus is a part of your UFV Student Orientation experience! Connect with peers in your incoming class, get to know your Faculty of study, meet UFV departments and services, and find out how to join student clubs and associations on the first day of your first semester at UFV.

Day ONE event details

Please consider the following details when completing your RSVP to this event:

  • This large-scale event takes place both inside and outdoors on the UFV Abbotsford campus (on King Road) from 9:30am - 4:00pm on Sept 6, 2022, and will be attended by approximately 800 - 1,200 students.
  • All UFV tours follow current PHO and University health and safety guidelines. For more information on UFV's return-to-campus plan and COVID-19 protocols, please visit UFV’s Coming to Campus webpage.
  • The Day ONE event, is only available to new UFV students beginning their studies in the Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 academic semester. Not a new student? Check out the New UFV Students webpage to find Student Orientation resources and events available to all UFV students.

RSVP to Day ONE: Welcome to Campus

UFV wants all students to feel welcome at this event! Any students who require accessibility or dietary accomodations are encouraged to RSVP for this event at least 10 business days in advance to allow the Orienation team time to meet your needs. 

Use the following instructions to RSVP to this event today

  1. Select September 6th on calendar below to see this semester's Day ONE event.

  2. Click the green "AVAILABLE" button to the left of the listing.

  3. Click the blue "continue" button at the bottom of the window. 

  4. Fill out the booking form, and select the blue "continue" button at the bottom of the window.

UFV is located in the traditional territory of the Stó:lō peoples, where Halq’améylem is spoken. The Halq’améylem word given to us for New Student Orientation (NSO) is Tl’etl’axel, which means "to invite people to gather in one community."
