Doris has a varied background in business and administrative positions both in the public and private sectors, and worked as the supervisor of a word processing center in Calgary before moving back to BC. She is proud to be BC-born and has added to the BC and UFV community in the following ways: Doris helped create the Literacy book project at UFV. She worked with many different software programs in the past and taught word-processing and Intro to Computers for community groups. She started at UFV in 1988 and started working in the Child, Youth and Family Studies Department in 1991. Doris has training in YMCA fitness where she offered aerobics classes. Her hobbies include aerobics, bicycle rides and exploring BC and Canada. Doris lives in Abbotsford, is married and has two children.
