Monique has worked as an early childhood education, primary school teacher in the Northwest Territories, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Key Worker, and Coordinator for Aboriginal Child Support Services. Monique has over twenty years of experience enhancing the lives of children with a wide range of abilities.
Monique has a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Counselling Psychology, which included research and the development of tools to evaluate the effectiveness of counselling services. Monique has also worked with clients to provide assessments, consultations, and remediation in the areas of sensory integration disorder and cognitive learning.
Monique lives in Chilliwack, is married, and has two children. Her hobbies include swimming, running, hiking, and stand up paddle boarding. Her favorite activities include hiking up to Lindeman Lake to paddle or taking clients out on the paddle boards to work on balance and coordination.
