BC Graduate Scholarships

The Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training has provided one-time funding to support graduate scholarships. UFV has received matching private donations to double the number of awards available.

AMOUNT: 10 @ $15000

AVAILABLE TO:  Students accepted into a UFV graduate degree program that have a 3.5 GPA in the last 2 years of study. Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Nominations are made by each Graduate Program Committee.


1. A total of ten Entrance Scholarships of $15,000 are available for the first year of study in a graduate degree program
2. One scholarship will be offered to an applicant in each graduate degree program offered in 2019 and 2020 (for a maximum of 9 scholarships).
3. One additional scholarship will be available to a declared Indigenous student in any graduate degree program.
