Dr. Darryl Plecas Criminal Justice Graduate Studies Endowment Entrance Scholarship
This award was established in honour of Dr. Darryl Plecas, Professor Emeritus, for his 34 years of dedication to the UFV School of Criminology and Criminal Justice
AMOUNT: Varies (value of the award will fluctuate each year based on the endowment amount)
AVAILABLE TO: A student who is entering the Master of Arts (Criminal Justice) degree program at UFV. Preference given to Aboriginal students. The recipient must:
- Have already submitted an application for admission to UFV
- Have completed a degree program with a high academic standing of 3.33 (B+) CGPA or higher
- Meet all entrance requirements and prerequisites for the MAster of Arts (Criminal Justice) degree program
- Be able to demonstrate an exceptional level of leadership, citizenship, determination, and effort in their professional work or volunteer experience.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Student will be nominated by the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
