Get ready for the first day of class

Attend New Student Orientation

Whether you're coming straight from high school, transferring from another post-secondary institution, or returning to school after taking some time off, New Student Orientation (NSO) is a great way to prepare for the upcoming semester at UFV. Get to know other students, learn about course requirements and expectations, find out about support services and more.

Explore student services and opportunities

Now that you’re officially a student, learn more about services for current students, including campus life, technology resources, commuting, the Student Union Society, the Study Abroad program, and more.

Find the support you need

UFV offers an array of student services and engagement opportunities, from counselling and career guidance to a food bank and leadership resources.

Indigenous students can self-identify to connect with the Indigenous Student Centre and access services especially designed to support them.

The Centre for Accessibility Services offers access to a variety of resources for students with disabilities, from alternate-format educational materials and classroom assists to disability-related educational funding. In-house disability advisors are on hand to provide one-on-one support.
