‌Meet UFV Nursing Instructor Dawna Williams

Dawna is a faculty member of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and teaches across the 5th and 6th semesters. Currently she teaches advanced medical theory and nursing research classes as well as the advanced medical clinical and home care rotations. Watching UFV BSN students transition into professional nurses providing high quality nursing care and then role modeling this care for her current students is the best evaluation of her teaching and fuels her desire to continue to teach nursing at UFV.

Dawna's scholarship includes simulation, research and the student learning experience. She is currently the lead on a research study being completed by nurisng faculty exploring the learner experience and academic achievement of the 3 and 4 year BSN program students.
