Computer accounts

Student computer accounts allow access to UFV computers and network files while on and off campus.

Access is restricted to currently registered UFV students.

Your username is your student ID number, and your password is your myUFV password.
 

UFV computer policies

Follow UFV computer policy for appropriate use of computing and network resources.

Be aware of UFV copyright rules when photocopying.

Report any inappropriate computer use to IT Services.

It’s not for synchronous classroom sessions but provides intermittent access to lab computers and software.

Reload money onto your Campus Card

Print or photocopy using your Campus Card. Load money to your card at the Campus Card office, Library PHIL station, or the Abbotsford or Chilliwack UFV Bookstore.
 

Use computer lab printers

  1. From the computer you’re using, send your print job (e.g., a document or file) to the printer.
  2. Go to the nearest print station. You can access your print job from any lab with a print station.
  3. Insert your student card into the designated slot at the print station.
  4. On the screen, enter your student number when prompted.
  5. The screen will display a list of your print job(s). Choose the specific print job you want to print.
  6. Click the Print button on the screen.
  7. Your print job will be sent to the printer, and the cost will be automatically deducted from your student card.
