UFV welcomes Yves Engler, Canadian Authour and Political Activist to the Abbotsford campus on November 8th. Here to discuss his latest book which reveals why most Canadians believe their country is a force for good in the world, despite a long history of support empire, racism and exploitation (Fernwood Publishing) and much more.

The GATE Discoveries Series

The GATE Discoveries Series welcomes Dr. Simon Springer from the University of Victoria to the Abbotsford campus on October 20th. Dr. Springer is a political geographer who has become one of the leading young academic voices in the field, with his work on anarchist geographies, critiques of neoliberalism, and the shaping of post-war Cambodia. His works cuts sharply across the boundaries of political science and geography.

The United Kingdom (UK) is preparing to leave the European Union after the Brexit vote on June 23, 2016.
