The Board of Governors appointed Jackie Hogan interim President and Vice-Chancellor of UFV as of July 2017. Prior to this, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President Administration. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CPA-CGA and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Calgary. 

As CFO & VP Admin, Jackie was responsible for and provided leadership to financial and administrative support services at UFV.  The portfolio encompassed finance, budget, facilities, legal counsel, purchasing, IT services, emergency management and security. She was responsible for advising on financial matters for the institution and for risk management and financial reporting requirements.

Serving on the President's Executive Team, Jackie provided leadership, through department directors, for the overall quality of services, meeting legal and reporting requirements within portfolio areas, managing resources, and planning improvements that enhance the University's ability to carry out its Mission and Strategic Plan.

Prior to accepting the CFO position in 2010, Jackie served as Associate VP of Finance (5 years), Director of Budgets and Financial Planning (6 years) and Manager of Accounting Operations (3 years) at UFV.
